Sixth-grade students learned about the fifth, largest country in the world — Brazil. Brazil has diverse landscapes, unique plants and animals, and a colorful history and culture. Although Brazilians celebrated Carnival before Lent, the 6th graders paraded through the school on Friday.
Our generous hosts from Boi Na Braza, Neimar and Flavia Hensel, helped the sixth-grade class celebrate Carnival with authentic Brazilian food and drink. After toasting to Carnival with Guarana soda, students devoured Pao de queijo and Risolis.
School families should make their reservations today to experience the dining tradition from the Pampas of Southern Brazil. Boi Na Braza is located in Cincinnati, Ohio in the Carew Tower.
A special thanks to the Hensels for enriching our learning experience!
