The Mother Ellen Learning Academy offers day care, after-school care, and summer care for children ages two to thirteen. While in our care, your child will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities, which promote all aspects of development. They will receive quality childcare in a loving environment.
We believe a child’s early experiences enrich and stimulate future growth. Children deserve to be treated and respected as individuals in an environment that welcomes reasoning, exploration, questioning, and imagination. Not only do we provide educational instruction, recreational services and cultural experiences, we also extend emotional, and social support. We respect each child’s need for love, security, acceptance, warmth, and stimulation.
Your child does not need to be enrolled at St. Joseph Academy to participate in our Daycare, Afterschool Care, or Summer Care programs.

Preschool
Our preschool program for 3 and 4-year-olds is designed to promote the social, cognitive, emotional, physical and spiritual growth of each child. In addition to our academic program, Mother Ellen Learning Academy offers religion, music, and P.E. classes appropriate for each preschool level.
The preschool curriculum lays the foundation the children need to seamlessly integrate into the Kindergarten program at St. Joseph Academy.
Day Care
Year-round daycare is available for children ages 2 – 13, from 7:00AM – 6:00PM. During Day Care for children ages 2 – 5, we focus on developing motor skills, social development, and early learning fundamentals.
Daycare is available for older children during school closings, summer break and some holidays. We provide peace of mind for the unexpected events that put working parents in a pinch.
After – School Care
We offer after-school care available to children ages 2-13, from the end of the school day to 6:00PM.
The program provides a safe, nurturing environment and offers a variety of activities designed to both entertain students and enhance their social and academic development.
Our younger children are in a supervised environment where they can play, socialize and relax from the day’s activities. Older children can use this time to focus on homework, projects or other studies.
Summer Camp
The summer camp program is offered during summer break from 7 am – 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Children engage in a variety of activities and field trips.
