Saint Joseph Academy’s PTO ( Parent Teacher Organization) recognizes that parent involvement is vital to the success of our school. Our mission is to enhance and encourage the educational and social environment of Saint Joseph Academy students. We encourage all parents and guardians to be active participants in their child’s spiritual, academic, and social development by supporting their school.
The PTO will be focused on three main components and will need volunteers to help keep these running strong. We have a commitment to our school in helping to financially support them in ways that the school’s main budget can’t normally afford. We have a commitment to creating social events in which students, teachers, and parents can interact to form strong relationships that will build a better community in our school. Finally, we have a commitment to raising funds in order to support the previous two components mentioned above. Together we can create a thriving PTO in which the school can count on as an important support system for our children’s education.
Room Parent – The Room Parent will meet with their child’s teacher to find out how they can help the classroom. It is their job to communicate with the PTO, the teacher, and the parents in the class. The classroom parent will be in charge of collecting and keeping track of their classroom’s boxtops.
