Santa took some time from his busy schedule to visit with us at St. Joseph Academy today. Here’s what he had to say:
“Old Santa adventured to a very special place today: Saint Joseph’s Academy in Walton, Ky. This school is very special to Old Santa because it so very much reminds Old Santa of the grade school that he went to, Saint Stephen’s in Newport. It is like walking back in time and experiencing Santa visits from my youth there through this experience! The children were so excited, they couldn’t wait to get hugs from Old Santa. The children when asked to Thank Santa or to say Merry Christmas to Santa all say it at the exact same time in perfect unison just like we were taught to do as children! It just made Old Santa smile hearing this happen each time when the children were prompted by their teachers. It was nostalgic in seeing Nuns being present along with the lay teachers too! It was Old Santa’s reminiscing morning for sure! Merry Christmas to you and all the great teachers, staff and children at St. Joseph’s Academy!!! Old Santa had the Best Time singing with the children, getting to visit them at their class rooms and answer all their questions about the elves and the reindeer! Old Santa especially liked telling the story how you can tell the male elves from the female elves in that the male elves are stinkier since they have to be dragged to get them to take a bath and the male elves have pointier ears because Mrs. Claus drags them by the top of their ears so their ears get a bit stretched and pointy at the top from that.”
Strives to educate the whole child spiritually, academically, and socially.
